After almost a year with no writing we are back for (at least) another Christmas story, because we've done it often enough now it's a habit. Christmas just won't be the same without working on a story for the December.
Or so I thought. Still think. It turns out my sister decided she's too busy to write with me. I tried to tell her I'm just as busy as she is but this is just something we need to do, because we've always (for the last three years) done it. She pointed out that while it takes me about an hour or two to write one of these bits, it takes her pretty much the whole day. (Which may be seen in the quality of our bits. Or at least the number of typos I made compared to the number of typos she makes. She also tries a lot more than I do to actually write a sensible, coherent and good story, whereas my goal for many of the bits is just to write as much nonsense as possible. Not always, though.)
Anyway, since she's out of the game, our dad promised to write with me this time, because I kept insisting someone needs to write with me. But everything else is the same. There's still one bit every day. Actually, what's not the same is that we're scheduling our writing so that we should be getting all the bits for you to enjoy (or get annoyed with my typos) already in the morning each day.
The story will start on the 1st December. Two nights to go.
