Good morning. This time actually morning.
First, I say two blogs.
Because the reason you didn't blog on the right day was that you forgot. It wasn't about the internet. If you had remembered it before you lost the internet, you would've been on time.
Second, putting out stories here, was it?
Again, my suggestion is, that sure, stories out here sound fun, but maybe as extra posts, so that there will be something else too. Does that sound like a plan?
Third, about the snow here.
Yeah, the temperatures here have dropped pretty low. It is cold in the rain. Or would be, if it would rain. It's the time of the year when when the skies are cllear it's some degrees below zero, and when it's raining it's mostly raining and not snowing cause it's a little above zero. Though it also apparently snows, since there is a tiny bit of snow on the ground also here in the Southern parts of Finland. Mostly the stuff on the ground is ice and frost, which makes riding a bike with summer tires feel a tiny bit like suicide. Though it's not bad yet, the snow hasn't gathered on the ground (cause there hasn't been any) and there hasn't been any rain to get the roads wet. The sky has been almost completely clear for a few days.
Now to what I actually wanted to write about.
I was at our parents' place for the weekend, and we had a movie marathon with the theme "Movies no one there has ever seen". We watched five movies, so I thought I'd make some small movie reviews.
Snow White (2001 version)
Probably the weirdest version of the Snow White story any of us had ever seen. Not bad weird, but for example the dwarves where weekdays and moved around jumping in the air and forming a rainbow that moved fast from one place to another. And the king was a peasant that (something that was probably) a genie that came out of the snow made to be a king when he was wandering to find someone to give Snow White milk after his wife died giving birth. And the genie's sister was the step mom. So yeah...
Legend of the Guardians
Not to be confused with Rise of the Guardians. The one I'm talking about is the one with the owls, not the one with Santa Claus and Jack Frost. It's an animation. A kids' movie. Not super good, but not bad. Probably won't see it again, wasnät that good. I did like that the hero's brother turned evil in almost the very beginnig though. I thought at first he's gonna be the hero. One of those movies that you just know what's gonna happen next while watching it.
Our Idiot Brother
A comedy about a guy who screwes things up for himself the whole time but simply being too nice to people. For example the movie begins with him going to jail for accidently selling drugs to a cop. A cop in a uniform. I mean, seriously. Again, not anything special, a comedy. I'm the kind of person who really likes comedies. I mean, they're good in the middle of the night or after a couple of hevier movies or when I'm in the right mood. I quite liked it, but not quite enough to want watch it again.
The Cloud Atlas
I was going to go watch this one when it came to the movie theaters, but then I didn't. It is beautiful. It's a movie that you really have to concentrate on while watching to be able to follow the plot, since it happens in I think six different times in history and future all mixed up toghether. So yes, needs your attention, but it is absolutely beautiful. One of those movies I'd want to have in my own shelf. I don't know what to say about it. Go watch it. Or read it. Just go.
The fifth one.... I don't even remember what the fifth one was... I guess what ever it was it didn't make that big an impression. I'll let you know if I remember it later.
Btw, if you find me having spelled watch "whatch", ignore it. For some reason my fingers wanted to type it that way and I corrected it a bunch of times, but it's possible there are some left. I don't know what's up with that.

PS. I had to update. Just in case you don't follow our stats as much as I do, we have hit 400 pageviews. Though I'm guessing quite many of them are our own.
The fifth was Jack the Giant Slayer, the new one.
