Cinnamon, Part 10 - Lemons

I really, reaaaallly don't feel like writing today, ugh. So this will be short and terrible. Sorry.

The meeting got boring quickly after that. Azer and the mer-king discussed strategies and opportunities and all kinds of details, none of which I understood or really cared about. I only wanted to go home, not be a part of any revolution. I understood that this prince or whatever was a really bad person, but I was tired and still confused and this wasn't actually my problem. Finally, after what felt like eternity, the meeting ended and we returned to camp. The conclusion, I believe, was that the fish would not be an active part of the rebellion, but if we ever needed them, we could count on their help.

The house elf offered me a small bag of honeyed nuts as a light snack for the evening and I gratefully accepted it. I got to the tent slightly before Hizi, who had stopped to chat with a fairy by the main tent, and when I got in I noticed something on my pillow. I picked it up just as Hizi walked in and he froze in spot.

"Bloody hell," he whispered as I turned the yellow fruit in my hand. "It's..."

"A lemon," I said. Hizi's eyes were wide open with fear.

Screw you and your lemons, what kinda topic is that? I've at least tried to give you topics that I think would make sense. But ahh, I have had a terribly tiresome day, so I really don't feel like trying to come up with something better. Your topic tomorrow: An Oath

And, yes, I'm aware it sucks that you get these things on the following day, but I don't really have time until the evening. I can try to write these things the previous evening, ad then I could post it in the morning, but stuff happens. Yeah. I'm out. Smell ya later.

Pie out.
